Labor Day Weekend is God sent. Seriously, though. Any holiday that’s key purpose is to do absolutely nothing, unplug and unwind, is a winner in my book. As if I needed a reason to refrain from labor.
Naturally, I escaped to the desert where the days are slow and the livin’ is easy. And I did just that— a whole lot of nothing.
Palm Springs has the dreamiest selection of boutique hotels, and Korakia Pensione is no exception. The bohemian decor, spanish-style villas, cacti and palm trees, wooden doors, cobble-stone courtyards, bougainvillea vines and the turquoise, blue pool gave me all the feels.
It only seemed appropriate to pack my favorite little red onesie from Peixoto for this boho bungalow. The deep, deep v-neckline, low back and cheeky coverage was perfect for prancing around the three-day weekend with my infamous swan floatie in tow.
Whoever decided onesies were cool again, I applaud them. I have infinite heart eyes for these things, and Peixoto sure knows what they are doing when it comes to one piece swimsuits. I swear they’re even sexier than the skimpiest ‘kini, so hats off to you, Peixoto.
A pretty one piece, a dreamy boho cabana, summer’s most coveted pool float, a cold drink and the desert mountains in the background— that’s the recipe for a perfect Labor Day Weekend (try it, I dare you).
Happy Labor Day, babes. I hope it lived up to all of it’s labor-less glory.
